If you guys have been following along you know I’ve talked briefly about starting a capsule wardrobe. Now I don’t think I could go with just 30 pieces (including shoes and jewelry) But I am trying hard to simplify my wardrobe by carrying pieces that will go with at least 5 other things in my wardrobe. I’m also trying to take pride in buying more quality pieces. I’ve defiantly been guilty of just going out to buy a new outfit for that night. But I’m trying really really hard to save my money and invest in a great piece when I find it.
10 Minute Clean Up
I’m trying hard to live by the 10 minute clean up rule. What this is, is if you get a call that someone is coming over within the next 10 minutes you have that amount of time to make your house presentable. I have a bad habit of leaving the dishes in the sink or not putting a pan away. But when it comes down to it, it takes SO much longer when your lazy ass just keeps shit everywhere.Unsubscribing from the Damn Emails
Seriously you guys, you have no idea how many emails I’ve missed because of the number of emails that flood my inbox daily. I notice that that’s apart of my business that stresses me out. The idea of going into my inbox is overwhelming and when I think about it, it’s not because of the business part but it’s because of the number of random ass things I’m subscribed too. So UNSUB.
Creating a Morning Routine
I know that I sound silly. But we do have a baby on the way, and I know I need to prioritize my work-life balance a bit better. One thing I really notice that makes a difference when I implement it is a morning routine. So that’s something I’m really trying to hard to stay ontop of.
Back to emails but you guys this has changed my life, that’s creating a follow up folder. You can learn how to do it here. But I’m not kidding. You know those emails that you get when you’re out and about that you know you want to respond to but sometimes forget? NO MO with Follow-Up folder. BAMI hope you guys liked these tips, I’m no pro but this is what I’ve seen helps me. It creates less anxiety and more ease in my life. Whats your guys’ go-to tips for staying more organized?
